3379 Peachtree Rd NE STE. 125, Atlanta, GA 30326

Takes reservations.

First, I love that the restaurant has free valet. I love valet -- I love free valet that much more. I hate spending 30 minutes searching for parking and walking three blocks for my meal. This is when I appreciate that I have never worn high heels in my life.

I confess when I was first seated, the atmosphere reminded me of a 1970's wedding. It was neat at first, but became a little over-the-top. The other oddity were people outside walking by that occasionally would press their face-up to the glass to see who was eating. After the 3rd time I had a little fun with it and would make faces at them. Hey, it was my birthday and I wanted to have a little fun.

I made the mistake and made my reservations for 7pm on a Friday. It was slightly empty and I was a little nervous at first. Seems like the croud starts to arrive closer to 8pm and it became a little more lively then. There is a DJ, but in the sunroom was a little difficult hear -- so, if you are looking for a quiet romantic evening, head to the sunroom. If we prefer to be a closer to the music, stay indoors.

Most of the guests were dressed in smart casual -- dating atire. The servers were dressed a little more casually. It gave it a slight edge and a slightly incosistent message.

For an appitizer, I started with the bone marrow. It came with some pickled vegtables and naan. It was a pleasent start, especially since I have never had bone marrow other than as a butter with my steak.

For dinner, I went with the lamb over a bit of couscous. It was served a little closer to the well-side for me. I honstly don't remember being asked about the tempreture - and I was, I certainly don't remember what I said. Food was great and the server was kind enough to wrap up the bone for my little doggie at home. I know she liked it. One big thing I will mention is that the menu does have several (plural) vegeterian options available. Big plus.

We wrapped up with coffee and a little Henessey XO. Overall, this is an awesome if you are looking for a romantic date. If that is your jam, the sunroom is a must - catch the sunset. The atmosphere is cool - music, vibe, and food. I will be back, but I think I am going to plan the next visit a little later in the evening to be part of the energy. I guess I would sum it up as good-to-great food with an incredible ambiance.

They loved my shirt on my birthday

They also do a brunch service and if there was any danger of me waking up early on the weekend, I would check it out.
